The Ohio Wetlands Foundation now has credits available at the Little Scioto Wetlands Mitigation Bank.  This vast project is located just west of Marion along the Little Scioto River.  It is adjacent to the Big Island Wildlife Area and will eventually become a part of the wildlife area. Little Scioto was developed by Wetlands Resource Center and approved by the Mitigation Bank Review Team in 1999.   The service area of Little Scioto is the Scioto River basin upstream of Circleville (the same as Slate Run).
